The POA Enviornmental Committee oversees and takes action on enviornmental matters of the community. It reports to and makes recommendations to the POA Board. The committee works in a partnership with Palmetto Hall Club management and the PSD.
The areas of activity include:
1. Developing and acting in concert with a POA budget.
2. Water Systems- Monitoring, improving and maintaining the functioning capability of our water systems. This includes the lagoons and wetlands.
3. Wildlife- Planning and taking action on improving the enviornment for birds, fish deer, bats etc.
4. Community Issues- Monitoring and representing the community on environmental issues such as the airport expansion and related noise concerns.
5. Acting on other projects as assigned by the POA Board.
